Admissions
Admission procedures vary according to your nationality, the country where you obtained your baccalaureate (or secondary school diploma), your country of residence, and the course and year of study you wish to apply for.
Tuition fees for the academic term
The University of Angers approved the exemption of non-EU students from differentiated registration fees: these students will only have to pay national fees as well as the CVEC (103€).
Bachelor's degree: 175€
Master's degree: 250€
Engineering degree: 618€
Doctorate: 391€
You are a european student
European students are students with a nationality from:
- One of the 27 countries of the EU
- A country included in the EEA (EU + Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein)
- Switzerland
- Monaco or Andorra
Applying for the 1st year of a Bachelor's degree (L1), PluriPASS or BUT
European students who want to join the French higher education system in 1st year of a Bachelor’s degree (“Licence”) or a Bachelor of Technology (BUT) must apply on the “Parcoursup” platform. The application process is mandatory to apply to most of the degrees offered by higher education institutions.
For Europeans and students living abroad, please note that L1 Psychology has a very limited capacity, there will be no international recruitment, only applications from students living in Maine-et-Loire, Mayenne and Sarthe can be considered. C1 level in French is required.
Applying for 2nd or 3rd year of a Bachelor's degree (L2 ou L3) or for a Master's degree (M1, M2)
If you are a European student and you wish to apply for 2nd or 3rd year of a Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree, you must submit your application to the Faculty in charge.

- A website is available for Master 1 applications: monmaster.gouv.fr. It allows you to consult the offer of courses in the first year of the Master's program and also to apply for the courses of your choice, according to a single national calendar.
- To apply for a Master 2 degree, contact the faculty concerned.

You are a non-EU foreign national, living in France
Applying for the 1st year of a Bachelor's degree (L1) or PluriPASS
Application for Academic year 2025-2026 will take place from October 1 to December 15.
- Download "Dossier vert" (in French) and read with care the explanatory note (in French)
- Fill out one application for each University
- Except in exceptional cases, candidates must take a language test, the TCF DAP (cost non available yet). The test will take place on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
Please note that as the test will take place after the application deadline, you must include the proof of TCF DAP test registration to your dossier vert.

- Send the files to the 3 universities of your choice by registered postal letter. For the University of Angers you have two possibilities:
- Submit your dossier vert by appointment (bienvenue @ univ-angers.fr) from October 17, 2024 to December 12, 2024 (until 4pm).
- Sending your dossier vert by post to the University of Angers:

You have a foreign secondary school diploma (baccalauréat or equivalent).
Download and fill out the form Dossier blanc (also called Demande d’Admission Préalable – DAP (Preliminary Admissions Request) and read the explanatory note. You can also get the form from the Cultural Services Department at the French Embassy of your country of residence.Applications for the academic year 2025-2026 must be made between 1 October 2024 and 15 December 2024.

Please note that there is no international recruitment for the first year (L1) of Psychology due to the very limited capacity of this course.

You wish to apply for the first year of the Bachelor’s degree (Licence L1) or Pluripass, you must apply on the “Parcoursup” platform.
- If you live in a country covered by the Etudes En France (EEF) procedure, once you have been admitted, you will need to register with Campus France in order to apply for a visa.
- If you are not from a country covered by the Etudes En France procedure, once you have been admitted, you will need to contact the Cooperation and Cultural Action Network (SCAC) of the French Embassy in your country, in order to carry out your visa procedures.
