International students at the University of Angers can choose courses taught in French and in English.
Non-exchange students
Discover the complete list of degree courses at UA on the course website in French. The minimum language requirements for courses taught in French are B2-C1, according to the chosen degree course.
Non-French speaking students
Non-French speaking non-exchange students who wish to take a degree course in English at UA, can apply for one of the following courses:
- Hospitality Management (Master's degree) at the Esthua Innto France, School of Tourism. Download the course description

International students who wish to learn French or improve their French language skills, can apply for an intensive semester course in French Language, DUEF (levels A1 to B2) at the French Language Centre for Foreigners. Go to programme
Exchange students
Non French speaking exchange students can chose courses taught in English from all of UAs schools, faculties and institutes.
